Care

  • Ceramics are very tough, vitrifying during the firing process, but they can still be broken and damaged by dropping, a sharp knock, and contact by force or pressure against other solid surfaces, i.e. metal, tiles, glass, steel door handles and stone benches etc.

  • Ceramics are food safe and dishwasher friendly but hand washing is recommended to prolong the life of your ceramics, especially if it has a 3D element with wire. Keep in mind that the wire containing cups are not microwave friendly.

  • Avoid thermal shock with your ceramics, sudden changes from hot to cold or cold to hot can result in cracking.

  • Think of your coffee/tea mugs they are robust, and great for every day use, but if dropped or knocked against the tap while washing they can chip, crack, or break.
